Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Product Manager, Brand Parts – Aftermarket Parts Marketing Department based at our Headquarters office. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Manage OE parts product portfolios to achieve AOP brand parts sales and margin expectations.
  • Understand market potential and sales volume; evaluate customer insights to direct parts pricing strategy, marketing plans, and influence parts supplier selections.
  • Develop sales growth strategies to expand wholesale and retail brand parts sales, including cross-sell, up-sell, kits, and promotional strategies for eCommerce.
  • Create product marketing information to support sales growth through dealer conversions or sales retention of assigned commodities.
  • Manage all product data and marketing information in the Product Information Management (PIM) system.
  • Own and manage product information for marketing purposes, ensuring complete, consistent, and accurate data.
  • Define needed OE parts product attributes to support the design of pricing strategies and achieve AOP margin/sales objectives.
  • Obtain competitive price intelligence to benchmark parts and service offerings.
  • Develop OE parts product strategy, including promotions, branding, content development, and understanding the voice of the customer and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the Aftermarket Sales team to optimize sales channel marketing strategies for all customer segments.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • A strategic thinker who understands how to align product portfolios with brand sales and margin goals.
  • Skilled in analyzing market potential, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to drive decisions.
  • Experienced in developing marketing and pricing strategies that meet customer needs while achieving business objectives.
  • Comfortable managing and ensuring accuracy in the Product Information Management (PIM) system.
  • Creative in developing promotional and sales strategies for multiple channels, including eCommerce.
  • Capable of building relationships and collaborating across departments such as Sales, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
  • Adept at identifying and implementing cross-sell, up-sell, and kit-sell opportunities.
  • Knowledgeable in parts branding, content development, and dealer sales support.
  • Skilled at obtaining and applying competitive intelligence to pricing and segmentation.
  • Committed to achieving sales growth through well-executed marketing plans and dealer engagement.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED / EDUCATION:

  • B.S. in Marketing or related field preferred.
  • Without a degree: 10+ years of managerial, marketing, aftermarket, parts sales, or related experience.
  • With a 4-year degree: 5-7 years of managerial, marketing, aftermarket, parts sales, or related experience.
  • With an MBA: 3-5 years of managerial, marketing, aftermarket, parts sales, or related experience.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong knowledge of marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Experience in marketing or related fields; sales support experience with HYMH preferred.
  • Knowledge of dealer base and aftermarket parts industry.
  • Skilled in market analysis and interpreting customer insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proven written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to design and implement sales channel strategies.
  • Capable of creating compelling value propositions and marketing content.
  • Skilled in gathering and applying competitive pricing intelligence.
