Accountant III

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Accountant III based at our Manufacturing Facility in Greenville, NC. 

**This is a full-time, on-site position based on a 4-day, 10-hour schedule (Monday–Thursday). Occasional Friday overtime may be required to support month-end close activities. Candidates must also be available for overtime twice per year to support physical finished goods inventory audits**

What you will do: 

• Manage and process various financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations. 

• Reconcile assigned accounts and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger. 

• Assist with the financial closing process on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. 

• Prepare and support the creation of consolidations, financial statements, product costing, budgets, forecasts, and other reports for management and auditors. 

• Administer and uphold company financial policies and procedures. 

• Provide support during financial audits and participate in special projects as needed.

• An effective communicator who can work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. 

What you will need: 

• A four-year degree in Accounting or Finance is required. 

• A minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience.
